Marion was a History major and English minor at the College. She was a four-year veteran of the basketball team, the Athletic Association, and Mission Unit. She also was editor of the College newspaper.

After completing graduate work at Teachers College, Columbia University, Marion first taught at St. Mary's High School in Elizabeth, then at Orange High School. Marion participated in many activities of Our Lady of Sorrows parish, in South Orange, including teaching, social services, and editing the parish bulletin. She also was active in Our Lady of Mount Carmel School of Special Education.

Marion served as Secretary of the Essex County Chapter of the Alumnae Association, and was Assistant Editor of Alumna. Marion received the Mother Xavier Award in 1981. She died in August 1998.
