Maria Corall Named NEAC Swimmer of the Week

Maria Corall (Newton, N.J.) and Maggie Olock (Bethlehem, Pa.) have both been selected as NEAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week after each had superb individual outings for their respective teams.


Corrall, a junior for the College of Saint Elizabeth Screaming Eagles, posted three first-place finishes to lead her squad to a 59-36 victory over NEAC foe SUNY Cobleskill Saturday.  All three wins came in indiviudal action for Corrall, as she won the 100-yard freestyle by nearly six seconds with a finish time of 0:58.62, claimed top spot in the 200-yard freestyle in over nine seconds with a time of 2:11.50 and took first in the 100-yard breaststroke after touching the wall in 1:18.63.  The win marked the third of the season in head-to-head action for Saint Elizabeth.
