CSE Swimming Wins Nail Biter

The Screaming Eagles swam their hearts out, resulting in a tie with Notre Dame of Maryland 44-44 on Saturday

CSE jumped out to an early lead when the relay team of Ashley Sicsko, Alexandra Budd, Jennifer Scully, and Maria Corall won the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:33.16. Budd added a second place finish in the 1000 free with a time of 13:03.41. Not to be out done, Veronica Lunsen added a victory in the 50 free, with a time of 27.55.

Maria Corall was the star of the match. In the 200 IM, she took first place with a time of 2:23.43, edging out Emily Jordan from Notre Dame.  She also won her other event, the 100 free with a time of 1:00.50, besting second place by almost 4 seconds. 

The Eagles return to action on Wednesday with a home meet with William Patterson at 6 P.M.
