With a 0-2 count and 2 outs in the top of the first inning, DeSapio drove a fastball over the left field wall for a home run, giving the Eagles a 1-0 lead. Danesha Triplett took the mound in game 2 pitching a scoreless first inning. Drew got on the board in the second inning scoring 2 runs and taking a 2-1 lead. Triplett continued to pitch well, giving up just 1 more run in the game.
Trailing 3-1 heading into the top of 7th inning, Lasko drove a line drive up the middle scoring Grace Bailey and cutting the lead to 3-2. Despite getting another runner in scoring position, the Eagles could not tie up the score, dropping the game 3-2.
