Brother Christopher Hall Defends Doctoral Dissertation at CSE

Morristown, N.J. (March 28, 2018) – Brother Christopher Hall, of Harlem, N.Y., has successfully defended his doctoral dissertation at the College of Saint Elizabeth to earn an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership.

"If you are looking for a doctoral program that provides guidance from start to finish, then CSE is the program for you," says Hall.

The title of his dissertation is, "Evaluating the Depth of the Integration of 21st Century Skills in a Technology-rich Learning Environment." Hall used his research to identify resources needed to assist faculty with successful implementation of strategies for 21st century learning skills. In addition, his study sought to assist faculty in creating a vision for future technology innovation and integration.

The results of Hall's study revealed that collaboration is a strongly represented 21st century learning skill. It also showed that technology promotes 21st century learning skills and that teachers believe additional professional development is necessary to continue the effective implementation of these skills.

Hall, who is a member of the Congregation of Christian Brothers, earned his bachelor's in religious studies and behavioral science from Iona College. He also received a master's in educational computing from Iona College.
