SUPERVISES: Assistant Coach/Student-Managers/Student Employees
The position of the Assistant Director of Athletics/Head Soccer and Lacrosse Coach is responsible for assisting the Director of Athletics in all aspects including recruiting of prospective student-athletes, assisting in sports information responsibilities, and serve as team travel coordinator. The Assistant Director of Athletics is required to abide by the rules and regulations established by the College of Saint Elizabeth, North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC), and the NCAA. In addition the Assistant Director is required to document recruitment and retention efforts, assist in compiling sports statists and records, and complete other duties as assigned.
Full-Time/12 Months/10 Vacation Days
Bachelor’s Degree required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, recruiting experience is required. A strong commitment to the student-athlete concept and a working knowledge of NCAA Division III and North Eastern Athletic Conference rules and regulations. Successful soccer and lacrosse coaching experience at the college level is required. CPR/AED Certification, First Aid Certification, and a Valid Driver’s License. Familiarity with the Statcrew Software is preferred.
Assist all recruiting efforts of each coaching staff including: organizing prospective student athlete campus visits, high school visits and coordinating prospective student-athlete overnight visits, and documentation of all recruitment and retention efforts.
Assist in sports information responsibilities including: public and media relations; website management; social media outlets; manual and in-game statistics; as well as reporting all results and statistical reporting for eight sponsored NCAA recognized athletic teams.
Assist in home game events for 8 sports teams.
Serve as all team travel coordinator for all sports.
Responsible for all areas of the women's soccer and lacrosse programs; which includes but not limited to: oversight of student-athletes. assistant coaches and student-managers.
Knowledge of NCAA Division III, NEAC and CSE Rules and Compliance.
Other duties as assigned.
