Assistant Professor for Allied Health Studies
Type: Full TimePosition: Faculty
Job Description
This is a full-time, tenure track position.
Responsibilities:
Teach 12 credits per semester. Classes to be taught may include: Intro to Allied Health, Health Promotion and Planning, Health Care Organizations and Delivery Systems, Human Disease, Epidemiology, Research (qualitative & quantitative ability), Senior Seminar and Internship.
Also, the faculty member would advise students, mentor internships, and mentor research projects, participate in department and college service.
This position will require evening, weekend and off-campus teaching assignments.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D or Professional doctorate.
Demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence at the college/university level.
Prior experience with both traditional undergraduates and adult learners is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively.
Record of scholarship and grant writing ability desired.
Knowledge and ability to teach on-line classes is a plus.
