CSE Athletic Facilities

St. Joseph’s Hall is the main hub for the College of Saint Elizabeth’s fitness and sport centers. The facility includes a gymnasium, pool, fitness center, drama studio and athletic department offices. The facility is available free of charge to all Saint Elizabeth students currently registered in academic programs. In addition, all Saint Elizabeth faculty, staff and administration with valid and current ID cards are eligible to use the facility.

The Screaming Eagles soccer and lacrosse teams utilize off-campus facilities at Soccer Centers in Somerset, N.J. for its home games. For information and directions, click here.

Outdoor facilities include:

• NCAA regulation-size softball field
• Six tennis courts (fully fenced)
• The soccer and lacrosse utilize an off-site location for games and practice. Click here for information and directions

Indoor facilities include:

• Gymnasium: with a seating capacity of nearly 300. Adjacent are two team locker room facilities and general population locker room facilities, equipped with multiple single stall, showers.
• Swimming Pool: a 25-yard, four-lane swimming pool equipped with appropriate starting blocks and adjacent spectator seating capacity of approximately 200. Nearby locker room houses multiple single stall, shower facilities, two additional team locker rooms, a general population locker room and separate single stall changing areas.
• Fitness Center: the Pat Singeaser Fitness Center with a complete line of cardiovascular and weight training equipment, including treadmills, elliptical and upright and recumbent stationary bikes, and rowing machines.
• Dance/aerobic studio is a mirrored, exercise dance room.

Recreational Options

For fitness minded students, biking and walking trails area conveniently located adjacent to the campus. The College is within a short car trip to major ski resorts in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Connecticut.

Facilities Rental Request

In addition to the formal athletics program, the College of Saint Elizabeth rents its facilities year-round for a variety of purposes including, but not limited to, games, tournaments, summer campus, performances, or plays. As a non-profit, private liberal arts institution, the College reserves the right to rent out its facilities to organizations and individuals whose programs align with its educational philosophy, mission and values.
