Ashley Sicsko can calculate the advantages of an education at College of Saint Elizabeth (CSE). As a double major in math and business administration, she transferred here from County College of Morris (CCM) and enjoys the academics, campus community and athletics.
“My transfer was easy,” said Sicsko, who calls Succasunna home when not residing in O’Connor Hall. Her CCM credits were accepted, CSE admission staff was helpful and she already knew other students at CSE who started at CCM.
“I love it here,” said Sicsko. “Everyone is really friendly and the classes are a really good experience …Math especially has small classes so you really get to understand the material well.” In addition to her academic classes, Sicsko enjoys being part of the swim team, which competes in the NEAC division, being a representative on the Student Athletic Advisory Council, an organization assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience, and participating in the Business Administration Club.
For the summer, she is working in the certified public accountant’s office working with numbers -- helping with bank reconciliations and gathering information for tax returns. Eventually she would like to become an actuary.
“I really love math,” she said. “CSE is giving me the opportunity to build on this passion.”
