Campus Life

The College of Saint Elizabeth places a high priority on the quality of student life both in and out of the classroom. Thus its policies and programs reflect a strong concern for the individual as a member of the academic community. A balance exists in the environment that supports as well as challenges the student to grow intellectually, socially, and spiritually.

The Student Life staff provides support services in areas of personal growth and development, health issues, career/life planning, and spiritual concerns. Through Athletics, Student Activities, and Volunteer Services, students are afforded numerous opportunities to enhance their college experience. A commitment to supporting, honoring and celebrating the diversity that exists among students is evidenced in the Office of International and Multicultural Affairs.

The campus environment is conducive to study and provides opportunities for personal growth. Saint Joseph Hall, the student center building, provides students with lounges, gymnasium, swimming pool, fitness center, drama studio, the college bookstore, commuter kitchen, and dining hall. There is also a new 500+ seat performance hall located in our newest campus building, Annunciation Center.

Each fall, the College runs a live-in, three-day orientation program for all incoming first-year and transfer Women’s College students. This program consists of information sessions, academic advising, skill-building activities, and social and recreational events. A team of student development professionals, faculty, staff, and students conducts the orientation program, which includes a special session for parents. In the spring, the College schedules a one-day orientation session for students entering the Women’s College mid-year.
