Congratulations to Foods & Nutrition angel Jessie St. Ger-main for her Kelligar Award for 25 years of service and dedication to the College of Saint Elizabeth. The Kelligar Award is named for the first president of CSE, Sister May Pauline Kelligar, who is known for her vision and inspiration. Jessie was one of two faculty and staff honored at the annual Service Awards this past April. Jessie oversees the food lab and all coordination for student activities in the lab, including shop-ping, stocking and ingredient control. Jessie’s oversight of lab functions has contributed in no small part to the many wonderful food and nutrition projects produced by FN students. Jessie is originally from Haiti, and is a mother of four. Her daughter Samantha was a 2011 graduate who delivered the keynote address at her commencement.
